Update your details on an agreement
How to update your contact details, and what needs your operator's involvement instead.
Some details on your agreement you can update yourself from your customer portal; others need your operator, because they change the agreement itself.
What you can update yourself
From your customer portal, you can update:
- Contact details — email address and phone number.
- Correspondence address — where we send emails and, if applicable, post.
- Payment method — see Change your payment method.
Changes to these take effect immediately and don't need anyone's approval.
What needs your operator
Some changes affect the agreement itself, not just your contact details, so they go through your operator rather than being a self-service edit:
- Adding or removing a coverage waiver — see Set up a coverage waiver (this one you can usually do yourself, but check — some operators configure it as operator-managed).
- Changing unit or unit size — a unit transfer is a new allocation, not an edit to the existing one.
- Adding another person to the agreement, or changing who's named on it.
- Ending the agreement — see Give notice and end your agreement.
Why the split
Your agreement is a licence to occupy a specific unit, not a tenancy — details that describe you (how to reach you, how you pay) are yours to keep current; details that describe what you've agreed to (the unit, the waiver, the term) are part of the licence itself and need a deliberate change, so there's always a clear record of what changed and when.
Who to contact
If you're not sure whether a change is self-service or needs your operator, contact support and we'll point you the right way.
